Josh Molnar
Founder of Bitcoin Daily · also known as Bitcoin Jae
Josh Molnar is a full-time trader, data scientist, and the founder of Bitcoin Daily, one of the largest Bitcoin-focused communities online, reaching more than 500,000 people across social media. Based in Miami, he trades crypto and futures for a living, including funded prop firm accounts, and teaches others to do the same. His edge is his approach. He is data first, and he lets the numbers tell the truth.
A Cuban-American born and raised in Miami, Josh took a path into crypto that was anything but conventional, it started in music. He left high school early to fast-track a music career, earned his GED, and went on to study audio engineering. The bet paid off. He was signed as both a recording artist and a producer, spending years writing, producing, and engineering records.
Along the way he worked whatever paid the bills between sessions, driving for Uber, delivering food, until 2017, when he found the thing that would consume him the way music once had: Bitcoin. He was already a self-taught trader by then, and he brought that same obsession to Bitcoin, dedicating himself to the technology, the charts, and the data. That obsession became Bitcoin Daily.
Building Bitcoin Daily
Bitcoin Daily began as a simple Instagram page where Josh shared market analysis and his day-to-day thoughts on crypto. It resonated. The page grew into one of the biggest Bitcoin accounts on Instagram, and from there into a full brand: a YouTube channel, a community, a merch store, and a premium analysis group.
Today the mission is the same as day one: make crypto understandable for normal people. Josh focuses on education over hype: teaching people how to read the market, manage risk, and think for themselves, in an industry full of noise and bad actors.
The data behind the work
What separates Josh from most crypto voices is simple. He is a data scientist. He taught himself the craft, working through a stack of data science courses on DataCamp over the years, not to collect certificates, but to understand how data actually works beyond the price on a chart. Statistics, backtesting, and simulation became as familiar to him as candlesticks.
That is the core of how Bitcoin Daily operates. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't lie. Before a strategy, an indicator, or a popular cycle theory earns a place in how Josh trades or what he teaches, it gets tested. Thousands of backtests and millions of simulated scenarios, run to separate what actually holds up from what is just a good story. Most of what sounds smart online does not survive it.
The most visible result is a full research study on Bitcoin's four-year cycle, with predictions written down in advance instead of claimed after the fact. You can read it at bitcoin-daily.com/research.
Trading for a living
Behind the brand, Josh is an active trader first. He trades crypto and futures intraday, and trades funded prop firm accounts, capital provided by trading firms to traders who can prove a disciplined, risk-managed edge. It is the unglamorous, professional side of trading: a documented process, fixed risk on every position, and treating a string of losses as the cost of doing business rather than a reason to blow up an account.
That is also what he teaches. Through one-on-one and group mentorship, Josh works with people who want to take trading seriously as a craft, building a repeatable process, passing prop firm challenges the right way, and learning to think in probabilities instead of chasing the next hot call.
